Where we're hiring.
We hire two roles: Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs). A current, valid Georgia nursing license is required for both.
Registered Nurse (RN)
One-on-one pediatric skilled nursing in the family home, following a physician-ordered plan of care.
- Current, valid Georgia RN license
- Pediatric or home health experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Skilled nursing shifts supporting children with G-tubes, trachs, seizures and complex medication schedules.
- Current, valid Georgia LPN license
- Comfortable working independently in a home
- Current CPR/BLS

Are you a parent hoping to be paid to care for your own child?
You're in the right place, just the wrong page — and we'd love to help. That path is Georgia Medicaid's GAPP Family Caregiver Option, which can pay a parent or guardian for approved personal support hours for their own child. It is a Medicaid benefit, not a job with Gentle Way, and it doesn't require a nursing license.
And to be straightforward with anyone else: Gentle Way hires RNs and LPNs only. We do not hire CNAs or certified nursing assistants, medical assistants, home health aides, personal care assistants, caregivers or companions. We're grateful you thought of us, and we'd rather say so kindly here than leave you waiting on an application we can't act on.
